Linked to International Women’s Day (March 8), which has occurred for over a century, Woman Composer Sunday is an initiative of the American Guild of Organists, the Society of Women Organists, and the Royal College of Organists.

Join us for a Lenten prayer breakfast on the first Saturday in Lent, March 8, from 9-10am in the adult lounge at the Mission campus. Breakfast (featuring biscuits and gravy and pancakes) and prayer lists will be provided.
Boy Scout Pack Serves Pantry
The Boy Scout Pack 3304 from Piper, Kansas, held a food drive for the Mission Community Food Pantry. On Monday, January 25, they delivered the donations to the pantry.

Devotions for the Season of Advent 2020

Online and In-Person Sunday School
Children’s Ministry is offering two options for Sunday School – In Person and Online. We are utilizing Simply Loved Sunday School curriculum for both options so everyone is learning the same message. This is a fun, hands-on way to learn God’s Word and how to apply it to our lives. The curriculum offers a Bible Point, Bible Verse, and Bible Story each week along with a Bible Buddy to help reinforce the message.
Mission Community Food Pantry Grand Opening Celebration
The Mission Community Food Pantry officially opened its doors for service to the community on Tuesday, October 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mission, Kansas. There was a brief grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting sponsored by the Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce. Speakers included Mission Mayor Ron Appletoft, Pantry Director Suzie Gibbs, and Pastor Mark Schulz, Senior Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church.

“I SPY” Trunk or Treat Alternative Event – CANCELLED
Trunk-or-treat Alternative Event | Saturday, October 31 – Mission Campus Parking Lot | Event 2:00 – 4:00pm | We are in need of 40 trunks or individual displays in order to provide a fun and exciting event. We will be unable to hold the event if only a small number volunteer. Sign-ups are needed by Saturday, October 17.
