Fall Church Picnic Recap
Trinity’s Fall Kickoff Picnic was enjoyed by many. What a beautiful day for a picnic. The weather was great, and the fellowship was phenomenal! Thank you to all who helped make the event a success. We look forward to next year, as the picnic will become an annual event for Trinity, where we will kick off our fall ministries by gathering together for fun and fellowship.

Featured Artworks for Sundays in Lent
On the Sundays of Lent, our sermons and worship will reflect the theme Knowing God: The Seven “I AM” Statements of Jesus. During this time, we will feature some of Trinity’s art collection that is related to this theme. Two pieces will be displayed at each campus, and partway through Lent they will trade places. The artworks that will be displayed are “Bread of Life” by Mary Kirk, “Holy Ground” by Dorothy Lightfoot, “I Am the Bread of Life” by Barry L. Kennedy, and “I Am” by Kerry Kellermeyer. Be sure to look for them on Sunday mornings!
Wednesday Lenten Meals
5:30pm Wednesdays in Lent Beginning March 5
Shawnee Campus
Lenten meals provide a meaningful opportunity to nourish our bodies and spirits as we journey through this season of reflection and preparation. We believe that coming together in community strengthens our bonds and enriches our individual spiritual paths.
Please feel free to invite your friends, family, and fellow congregants to join us in this special time of fellowship. Your presence will make these gatherings even more meaningful.
Women Composer Sunday March 8-9

Hear music by women composers at the traditional services at the Mission campus on the first weekend in Lent. Lenten Sermon Themes for Midweek and Sundays
As we enter the season of Lent, we invite you to journey with us through a time of reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth. This year, our Sunday sermon series will focus on the powerful “I AM” statements of Jesus, revealing His identity and mission. On Wednesdays, we will dive into the richness of the Lord’s Prayer, exploring how Jesus taught us to pray and deepen our relationship with God.
March Youth Ministry Hub
Here it is! A new central hub of all things youth for the month of March! Find everything you need for participating in youth activities for middle school and high school youth.
Lenten Devotions 2025
To help guide you through this season of Lent, we are offering nine different Lenten devotional resources designed to meet the needs of all ages. Whether you are looking for a family-friendly devotional, a reflective daily reading, or a deeper theological study, there is something for everyone. These resources will equip and encourage you as we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter. We invite you to take advantage of these opportunities to grow in faith and draw closer to Christ during this sacred time.
Shareholder Fundraiser Update
Update! We are just past halfway to our goal of 25 sponsors, and looking for 12 more sponsors of $25 or more to help send our group to the LCMS Youth Gathering this coming July. It costs about $1600 to send one person. These sponsors really make the difference so we can offer scholarships to students who want to participate in this amazing experience.
Kindle Training Recap
The second in-person KINDLE event Beth attended was February 3rd-6th. Our time was spent in eight modules learning more about servant leadership, observing our environment, and sabbath living. I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity to grow in my skills and learn more about how we here at Trinity can pursue our walk with Jesus.
Lenten Mentoring
The season of Lent is almost here and a very important part of Confirmation at Trinity is the one-on-one mentoring in the season of Lent. It starts on March 5 and the last session is on April 9. Students have the opportunity to select someone who is not an immediate family member over the age of 18 who also follows Jesus. Congregation members can also inform one of the pastors or Beth if they are interested in adding their name to the mentor list to be matched with a confirmand.
