As we approach the Advent season, we invite you to join us in preparing our hearts and minds for the celebration of Christ’s birth. Starting on November 22-23, Advent devotionals will be available at each campus. We encourage you to stop by and pick up one, or even two devotionals, tailored to your specific needs.
We have a mission trip opportunity this summer for high school youth! This summer we will be serving on the Lake Traverse Reservation in South Dakota from July 26th to the 31st. This opportunity is centered around connecting with the local community through volunteerism and growing in faith through the use of devotionals and daily worship services. SIGNUP DEADLINE is December 11.

The Christmas season can be especially hard for those carrying grief, loss, or heavy hearts. Whether you’re facing loneliness, illness, financial uncertainty, a recent change, or the absence of loved ones, you’re not alone. Our Blue Christmas service offers a gentle space to acknowledge sorrow and seek comfort in God’s promises.
Come sing favorite German Christmas carols, and hear the Christmas Gospel in German. Saturday, 6 December 2025, 4 pm | All are invited to a German-language Christmas service of lessons and carols! Hosted at Kansas City United Church of Christ, in Brookside, at 205 W 65th Street, KCMO.
