Free Lunch!

At 11:30 on Wednesday, June 16, at the Mission campus there will be a gathering of all seniors for a chance to see each other again, enjoy a boxed lunch, and talk about programing for the 2021-2022 year. The announcement by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) opening things up took us a little bit by surprise. I want to gauge where our group is at regarding what you feel comfortable doing. This is for all seniors from both campuses, whether you are part of a specific Bible class such a 50+ or if your interests lie in other activities. All are encouraged to attend.

The definition of a senior is someone nearing retirement or older. This is purposely vague. We will discuss service projects, Bible classes, Senior Series Talks, celebrations (Oktoberfest, Christmas parties, etc.) There are some unique events that are planned I think will be of interest to all. The Kansas District has several things going on which Trinity’s seniors have been role models. Come hear about those.

We will provide a boxed lunch and bottled water to enjoy during the meeting. There is no cost. Please let Tom Perry know if you will be attending so I can figure out all the logistics. I would like to know by June 6. Either reply with the link below, call the office, signup at worship services, or email me at Tom@tlcms.org. I look forward to hearing from you!
