When a natural disaster strikes, are you prepared to help out with the love of Christ?

Tornados, hurricanes, floods, fires. Natural disasters can strike at any time. When it does, you and I have the chance to respond with the love of Christ. One great way to do so is by joining a LERT team: a Lutheran Emergency Response Team. By participating in a LERT Team, you will be trained on the best ways to provide assistance in time of need, and how to avoid some of the pitfalls that can actually hurt rather than help.
A new LERT Basic Training Class is being held on April 30, and an advanced LERT Chainsaw Training Class is being held on May 21. Both are hosted at First Lutheran Church in Paola, KS. For more information, contact Brian at 859-576-1892 or email phil@tlcms.org.
