Bethany Lutheran Church (located at 91st and Lamar in Overland Park) will serve as the host for the Lutheran Laymen’s League Zone 3 Fall Rally the evening of Sunday, October 30. Registration begins at 5pm with the meal and festivities beginning at 5:30pm. The featured speaker will be Michael Hoffman, vicar at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Olathe, who will be speaking about the life of a seminarian in the 21st century. Additionally there will be reports from the LLL Kansas District and a hymn sing. A free-will offering will be accepted to cover the cost of the meal and any additional proceeds will go to support the Kansas LLL District Project, which provides scholarships for future church workers.
