Hope Lutheran Church in Shawnee
Greetings from the Men of Hope at Hope Lutheran Church, a group that inspires men to be better spiritual leaders. We are inviting you to an Advent breakfast that will feature speaker Rev. Mark Frith, National Director of the Champions for Religious liberty Network.
The Youth took over the Mission campus on Sunday Night! They solved clues, ate candy, and took on the adult volunteers in candy trivia! We finished the night talking through Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (ESV)
This was my third KINDLE in-person event and I only have one more! This two-year process has gone by so quickly! I got to see data from our congregation based on surveys people submitted (Thank you!). It was awesome to see how supportive and positive our responses were, and gave us good direction for ways our community wants to grow toward.
Get the highlights from the Executive Committee meeting on September 29. There will be NO Thanksgiving services this year. Your church needs you! Prayerfully consider how you are supporting Trinity with your time, talents, and treasure.
If you are interested in serving on a mission trip to Panajachel, Guatemala, February 1 to February 7, 2026, please come to an informational meeting at 12:30, Sunday, November 2, 2025, to have your questions answered and learn about our previous trips to this region.
A light lunch will be served but please RSVP to Pastor Luke so we have an idea of numbers.

Confirmation students, it’s time to register for the confirmation retreat on November 7-8! We will travel to Tall Oaks Retreat Center in Linwood, Kansas, to play some fun games, eat some great food, and faith-filled Bible studies!
