As we enter the holy season of Lent, we step into a sacred time of reflection, renewal, and preparation. These forty days invite us to slow down, return to the Lord, and walk with Christ toward the glory of Easter morning. To support our congregation in this meaningful journey, Trinity is pleased to offer a selection of Lenten devotionals for individuals, families, and children.
Three months earlier we celebrated the season of Advent. We looked with eager anticipation to the celebration of Jesus coming to us. We experienced the deep emotions of hope, peace, love, and joy. Seen here are paintings from the Trinity art collection paired with paintings depicting the emotions elicited during Advent. The Advent paintings were created for a Trinity Advent devotional written years ago.
During the January 25, 2026, Congregational Assembly we said we would summarize in the eNews the Executive Committee’s part of the presentation. Topics covered at the Assembly included the overall state of the church, church finances, staffing, and service/volunteerism. This week, we begin with the state of the church, finances, and staffing.
The huge window behind the altar is entitled “The Church’s Mission and Ministry.” Recently, Lana Hansen, Tom Perry, and Brayden Yoder-Mulkey, recorded a video explanation of this beautiful collection of windows. Enjoy!
