The Call Committee for Lead Pastor at the Shawnee campus has received a list of twelve names for consideration from the Kansas District. The Shawnee Call Committee is in the process of reviewing the list of candidates, discussing who would best fit the unique needs of the Shawnee campus, and meeting to narrow the list down to those with whom we want to have initial virtual interviews.

The call team members have been working on finalizing questions for initial phone or video interviews. We have received the final listing of candidates that the District President has approved. There are ten pastors on our listing, of which five of them are also on the Shawnee list.

11 Trinity Students participated in the Kansas District High School Summer Camp at Lutheran Valley Retreat!
The week focuses on team building challenges, Bible study, and enjoying the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Trinity participates in this event each year and we encourage all of 8th graders to go because of the significant faith-impacting experience.

Trinity Lutheran Church Preschool wrapped up another school year on May 21st. During the 2023-2024 school year, the preschool served 77 families and graduated 46 Pre-K students. With a staff of eight – director, assistant, aide and five classroom teachers – the preschool worked to fulfill its mission of rooting children in Jesus’ love and helping them grow through His grace.
