Dear Parents,
DO NOT BE AFRAID!
Easy words to say but not so easy words to live out in our lives, especially in light of all the things happening in the world around us. The words of encouragement I want to offer this week are short and simple – give all things to God. Give him your fears, your doubts, your concerns, your tears, your frustrations. Give it ALL to Him.
God knows you and everything that is happening in your life. He knows the very number of hairs on your head and He LOVES YOU! He loves you with a love so great He sent Jesus to be your Savior. He wants to spend eternity with you. You are most valuable to Him and He wants to walk with you in life. Let Him in, give him your fears, spend time talking to God in prayer, read His Word and hear His reassurance of that great love. Feel the comfort that only God can provide. Trust in Him, rely on Him, and give Him thanks for the wonderful, amazing love that poured out upon you. Then – teach your children to do the same!
Share this love with your children, family, friends, neighbors, community, and others throughout the world. It is too great a gift to keep to ourselves.
