On the weekend of May 18-19, the Day of Pentecost (fifty days of Easter and ten days after the Ascension), the clergy wear red vestments to signify the work of the Spirit. It is also a custom in many churches for the people in the congregation to wear red on the Day of Pentecost as well. We invite you to wear red on Pentecost Sunday to remind us of the fire of the Spirit.
While our Trinity Choir takes a break during the summer months, volunteer musicians are invited to help lead worship. You may be confident and skilled enough to serve as a soloist, or you may wish to work on building your confidence by playing along with a hymn or two.
The call committee for Lead Pastor at the Shawnee Campus has been formed. Please pray for God’s guidance for their important work.
