Faith Milestones will be celebrated in worship on March 30 and April 6 at the Mission campus and on March 30 at the Shawnee campus. Sunday School children, toddlers through fifth grade, participate in this activity. They learn about the Lord’s Prayer, books of the Bible, the Ten Commandments, and the Apostles’ Creed, and then help lead portions of the services.

Twenty six families have participated for a total of $2,677.20! Praise God for the way our congregation invests in youth ministry at Trinity! We are so excited to be able to share prayers, trip updates, and a special recap event on August 3 with the students and their families. The students and adult leaders are continuing to plan and receive details about the trip! Want to join the group of shareholders and get special updates?

The next noisy collection will take place on Sunday, March 30, at both campuses. Please bring your loose and “noisy” change and deposit it in the buckets on your way into the sanctuary for worship. The money collected will go toward the purchase of VBS supplies.

Trinity has had an early communion practice for many years. During this class you and your youth (at least one parent must accompany your child) will have a chance to take an in-depth look at what the Sacrament of Holy Communion means and how it nourishes our faith life.

Thank you to everyone for your continued prayers, support, cards, and food. I have returned home and will begin cardiac rehab this week. As I continue my recovery, I will be focused on my health. I will also start some part-time work during the week as I can.
God has truly been my refuge and strength in all of this. I trust in His guidance and take comfort in the words from Psalm 31:14-15, “But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands.”
Blessings
Rhonda
