In partnership with Johnson County, KS, MLM has funding available to provide Minor Home Repair assistance to income eligible homeowner residents of Johnson County. We currently have a short waiting list for services. While the MHR program at MLM ordinarily prioritizes assistance to elderly and disabled households, this program serves a broader population who meet income eligibility guidelines

Learn from Rev. David Fleming and Dr. Beverly Yahnke how we can stand on truth in love
regarding sexuality in a post-Christian culture. With the legal redefinition of marriage, the confusion regarding gender, and rapidly changing sexual mores in society, Biblical educators, pastors, singles, couples, and parents are looking for guidance in articulating and promoting a positive view of the Christian vision for marriage and sexuality. Our goal is to equip people with tools to speak constructively and to live confidently amid the current confusion.

This summer, Ruth Maita and her family will be on a brief break from their LCMS missionary work in Puerto Rico. Our Saviour Lutheran Church (4153 Rainbow Blvd, KCKS 66103) will host them, and area church members, on June 17 for an evening meal. Ruth and her husband will be sharing photos and stories of their work.
