This group is watching and studying The Chosen series. The Chosen is a historical drama TV series about the life of Jesus, created by Dallas Jenkins, which tells the story of his ministry through the eyes of the people who knew and followed him. Set in 1st-century Judea and Galilee, the multi-season show combines biblical accounts with fictional backstories and dialogue to make the biblical narrative more relatable and to show the human experience of Jesus followers before they encountered him. It is the first multi-season series about Jesus’s life and ministry, and is available to watch for free online.
