Last Wednesday, September 15, Trinity seniors visited the Overland Park Arboretum. The day turned out to be gorgeous, and 40 of us enjoyed God’s beautiful world. It was fun to catch up with old friends and to make new friends. Thanks to all who participated–it was a fun day.
Coming up on October 20, all Trinity seniors (50 or older) are invited to an Oktoberfest celebration. The time of the lunch is approximately 11:30, following the 50+ Bible study. Plans are in the works to celebrate our heritage and good German food will be a big part of the celebration. The logistics are being worked out and we will do our best to consider restrictions because of the pandemic. I am looking for volunteers to help cook brats and if people want to volunteer German food, please let Tom know. Someone told me Pastor Mark was supplying the beer! I hope to see you there and you are welcome to bring a friend. Sign-up sheets and electronic invitations will go out soon.
