The season of Advent is itself a gift and I encourage you to take the time to receive it. Prepare your hearts for the Christ who is, who was, who will come again—notice him. Somehow, this time of year lends itself well to such seeing, and I hope these devotional tools and study opportunities help you in the journey.
The Gift of the Present Moment Pre-Advent Class
Some say when Advent gets here it feels too late to prepare, to set aside time for contemplating the real meaning of Advent and the coming of Christ. By late November, schedules and life are already swept into the flurry of holiday activity, and many on December 26 look back and wonder where the time went, how their desire to attend to the spiritual meaning of Advent faded in the flurry.

A LifeGuide Study of the book of Romans | Our prayer life becomes stagnant. We forget why we are serving God. And the world’s ways subtly become our ways. Romans addresses these problems and shows us how we can break out of old patterns and become new in Christ.
Wednesday Women’s Bible Study
The Wednesday Women’s Bible Study will be starting our next topic on October 9. We will be studying “The Power of a Woman’s Words” by Sharon Jaynes. We meet at the Shawnee Campus from 9:30-11:15am each week with childcare available.
