Sunday night, the Confirmation 2023-2024 got started with the Parent/Student Orientation meeting at Shawnee. Some parents, students, and staff got to talk about the upcoming year of Confirmation. Please pray for the 33 students at both campuses, their families, and our teachers.
Shawnee Campus — September 10th at 6:30pm in the worship area
Mission Campus — September 20th at 6:30pm in the middle school room downstairs
The student and at least one parent should attend. We will cover the units for this year, upcoming calendar, and meet table group leaders! All returning and new Confirmation students should participate.
All students in grade 6-8 are invited to join us on a confirmation retreat on September 15-16. This is a meaningful event designed to build trust, friendships, and excitement for the season ahead.

As we prepare for a new season of confirmation class, we would like to make sure that all of our contact information is correct for each family.
For the summer a the Shawnee campus, we be embark upon a inter-generational Bible study/video series called “Torchlighters: Heroes of the Faith.” After watching the video each week, we will break our into age-based groups for discussions and activities. Popcorn provided!
July 23 – 28 Pioneer Camp
Heit’s Point is a summer camp just two hours East of KC in Lincoln, MO right on a lake. It is a beautiful location with great staff and fun activities for students.
