The Call Committee recently received a new list of eight names from the District President for consideration. The committee will review information for each candidate and will meet in January to determine which candidates we would like to contact for interviews. Please continue to pray for the committee, our congregation, and those pastors God will lead us to contact.

If you or someone you know is interested in joining our “Community Following Jesus” here at Trinity, please email Pastor Luke (luke@tlcms.org) to let him know of said interest. He is forming a new member’s class that will meet for four weeks on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm starting on January 14th. The class will be offered as both an in-person as well as online course.

Starting January 12th, the middle school students at Shawnee will be going through a three-week series on God’s Design for Creation. This is a great series for students to bring questions regarding what we believe about the start of the world, God’s role in creation, and why it matters for our lives. This is designed for students in 6th-8th grade and will be led by Bill Peterson.
