Part of the call process is asking the congregation what qualities we need in our senior pastor. To accomplish, we are providing a Pastoral Characteristics form that can be accessed via two channels, as was the Pastor Nomination form. Your feedback is important to the process, so please complete and submit a form by the end of day July 2.
The call committee convened for the first time on Wednesday, June 7. After getting acquainted with each other, we planned next steps for developing the information we are to submit to the District regarding the call, as outlined by President Panzer at the May 24 Pre-Call Meeting.
As we search for our new senior pastor there are two sources from which we consider potential candidates. One is a list of names compiled by Kansas District President Panzer. The other is you, the congregation. This is your chance to nominate someone for possible inclusion in our list of names for call consideration.
In lieu of summer Sunday school, Children and Youth Ministry is offering a weekly Bible story, memory verse/Bible point, discussion questions, and service opportunities for families to do together along with special meal kits and surprise items. Registration is required.
The Missions Committee will be sponsoring a mini-grants program to fund a limited number of Trinity members’ social service/ministries projects/programs. The goal of this program is to seek God’s will in the use of our common resources as we strive to care for neighbors.
